Enlawyer Managing Partner Damir Amanbaev Spoke at the Interim Session of the Foreign Investors Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On 18 May 2026, Damir Amanbaev, Managing Partner of Enlawyer Law Firm, participated and spoke at the Interim Session organized by the Foreign Investors Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (FIC).

During the session, participants discussed 121 initiatives and proposals developed within the FIC working groups. These initiatives are aimed at further improving Uzbekistan’s investment climate, business environment and regulatory framework.

The discussions covered a number of important legal, regulatory and practical matters faced by foreign investors and businesses operating in Uzbekistan, including corporate governance, investor protection, investment-related reforms and broader measures to support the development of a more predictable and business-friendly legal environment.

The session was opened with welcoming remarks by H.E. Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was moderated by Mr. Andi Aranitasi.

Damir Amanbaev contributed to the discussions and spoke on several initiatives prepared within the FIC working groups. Enlawyer recognizes the importance of such platforms in promoting constructive dialogue between the Government, foreign investors, the business community and professional advisers.
